IWS Copper Root Control Insert
These IWS Copper Root Control Inserts are designed to fit with 16mm pipe fittings and are compatible with Straight, Tee and Elbow connectors, which in turn fit inside M25 sealing glands. Designed for Basic and Basic Remote IWS Flood & Drain Systems.
The only downside to having a system that rapidly produces a healthy and aggressive root zone is that the roots often try to escape down the pipe work. These simple, yet effective inserts made from copper will help prevent this problem by creating a barrier that roots will avoid, due to the simple fact that roots do not like to be in contact with copper.
