Small Ice-O-Lator® Bubble Bag Kits are a professional water extraction system designed to separate plant resin glands using ice water and precision micron filtration bags. This compact extraction kit is ideal for small-scale processing and hobby growers, capable of handling up to approximately 200 grams of dried plant material per run.

Using a series of high-quality filter bags with different micron sizes, the Ice-O-Lator® system separates trichomes from plant material through cold-water agitation and filtration. The multi-bag setup allows growers to isolate different grades of resin based on particle size, producing cleaner and more refined extracts.

The Small Ice-O-Lator® system fits standard 20 litre (5 gallon) buckets and features a 30 cm bag diameter for easy handling during the extraction process. Depending on the kit chosen, sets are available from 2 bag systems up to full 8 bag kits, giving growers the flexibility to choose the level of filtration and separation they require.

Each bag uses precision micron mesh screens designed to capture specific trichome sizes while allowing water and smaller particles to pass through. By filtering through multiple micron levels, growers can produce several quality grades from a single batch of plant material.

The Ice-O-Lator® extraction method relies on ice-cold water and gentle agitation to separate trichomes without the use of solvents, making it a widely used mechanical extraction technique for producing clean resin extracts.

How Ice-O-Lator® Extraction Works

The Ice-O-Lator® extraction method uses ice-cold water to make trichomes brittle so they detach from plant material during gentle stirring. Once separated, the resin glands are filtered through a series of micron mesh bags that capture different particle sizes.

Higher micron screens remove larger plant material while smaller micron filters capture finer resin particles. This staged filtration allows growers to collect several different grades of resin from a single extraction process.

For best results, water temperature should remain at or below 4°C (39.2°F), as cold temperatures help trichomes break away more effectively. Slow and careful stirring is recommended to maintain higher quality extraction. Working material in several rounds can also help produce separate batches with different quality grades.
